Monday, May 9, 2022 was the first day of the Jakarta Utara Mendonor event, which was also a day that attracted quite a lot of attention for people in the Sunter area. Taking place at GOR Sunter, the event was held for 6 days until May 14, 2022.

The event was organized by the Mayor of North Jakarta and the Indonesian Red Cross by involving several companies, including PT TEMAS Tbk. The participation of PT TEMAS Tbk aims to provide a breath of fresh air for the Indonesian Red Cross by contributing to the stock of blood bags which often decreases in the middle of Ramadan, considering Indonesia needs 5.4 million blood bags per day, where DKI Jakarta itself needs around 1,200 blood bags every day.

Another interesting thing about the Jakarta Utara Mendonor event is that it was recorded in the Indonesian Museum of Records (MURI) as the largest blood donation in the month of Ramadan. In six days, 4,000 blood bags were donated to the DKI Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross (PMI).

"This blood donation activity is very good because it provides additional blood bags for PMI which will be distributed to people in need, besides blood donation is also beneficial for our health. Thus, besides being concerned for others, we are also concerned about our own health." Ms. Marthalia Vigita as Corporate Secretary of PT TEMAS Tbk, closed her statement.
