Covid-19 is a significant concern, which was ingrained in the thoughts of Temas Group's Covid-19 Task Force, which was founded on January 17, 2021 and directed directly by Mr. Sutikno Khusumo, who was the President Director of Temas Group at the time. Taking a closer look, the Temas Group's Covid-19 Task Force had a mandate that included not just the health of Temas Group personnel, but also the wellbeing of their families. This Task Force was founded as a result of management's strong support to keep all employees healthy, and it is inextricably linked to the government's demand that each company form a Covid-19 Task Force.
"In order to make it easier to monitor the condition of Temas Group employees and their families who are affected by COVID-19, so they can quickly take steps to cure employees affected by COVID-19 and provide immediate assistance, and no more Temas Group large families are exposed to COVID-19." Mrs. Stella, a member of the Temas Group's Covid-19 Task Force from the HRD department, stated this as the context of the founding of the Temas Group's Covid-19 Task Force.
In order to carry out its responsibilities, the HRD department, as the task force's main pawn, designated one person in charge in each division to report on the health status of his or her team every day and to closely monitor any member of his or her team who was sick, even if showing symptoms of Covid-19. This was done to ensure that employees and their families received prompt treatment for COVID-19 instances and were able to recover swiftly and return to health. In addition, the Temas Group's Covid-19 Task Force ran a number of programs for all employees and their families. Starting with daily and frequent health checks for all employees, free masks, and full support for medicines and vitamins for employees and their families who were exposed to COVID-19, and then monitoring until the employees recovered entirely and the PCR test results were certified Negative. Furthermore, this Task Force established hand-washing stations at all workplace entrances, as well as placing hand sanitizer bottles at various locations throughout the company. This attempt could be carried out because it would require the full backing of Temas Group's whole Board of Directors.
Other consistently periodic efforts, such as sanitizing workspaces every day, offering Hepa filter facilities in each workspace, allowing employees to work from home (WFH), and providing Covid-19 counseling, had contributed to reducing the impact of Covid-19 within Temas Group.
Temas Group Covid-19 Task Force had accomplished a great deal on the margins of its major task in each department, and it deserved to be recognized. The efforts made have succeeded in reducing the number of spreads in the Temas Group area, and the recovery period for employees and families who were exposed to Covid-19 can also be said to be relatively short because this Task Force was responsive in providing support to those who were exposed to Covid-19.
One year has now passed. The Covid-19 Task Force of the Temas Group has released fresh projections, including supporting the government's aim to turn a pandemic into an endemic by repeating what has become a habit. What is good will be maintained, while what is not optimal will be maximized. Everything is being done to break the chain of Covid-19's proliferation in Indonesia, ensuring that people are healthy, the economy is advanced, and Indonesia prospers.
