On May 25, 2023, PT Asia Marine Temas, a subsidiary of Temas Group operating in Crew Management, visited POLTEKPEL Surabaya. The purpose of the visit was to deliver a public lecture and conduct a selection process for the best cadet candidates. The event took place at the Arctic Auditorium Building of Poltekpel and was attended by Mrs. Imelda Dewi Tjahyani, the Crewing General Manager; Capt. Herwan Kurniawan, the Crew Development Manager; Capt. Slamet Riyadi, the Head of Academic Administration Department; and Mrs. Siti Fatimah, the Junior Expert in Learning Technology Development.

During the visit, PT Asia Marine provided educational materials on Crew Management to all students of POLTEKPEL Surabaya. Additionally, a rigorous selection process was conducted to choose the top 20 best cadets who would participate in the Nautical and Engineering study programs. The selection activities took place after the completion of the guest lecture and were held in the Library Room of POLTEKPEL Surabaya. The selection process aimed to recruit cadet candidates with disciplined attitudes and professional skills.

With this visit, PT Asia Marine is committed to supporting maritime education at POLTEKPEL Surabaya and assisting in shaping a younger generation ready to become skilled and qualified professionals in the field.
